2023 – ZIRK Comedy show

Een klein circus houdt halt in de stad. Binnen de muren van de circustent valt heel wat te beleven: hilariteit, absurde zaken, magie en poëzie. Een onrealistisch op dromen geïnspireerd circusverhaal, waar gelach en poëzie de plak zwaaien en waar het publiek meegenomen wordt in een tijdloos verhaal. Toegankelijk voor publiek van alle leeftijden, maar vooral voor zij die de kunst van het lachen en de verwondering verleerd zijn!

A performance featuring clown acts, music and bizarre magic. A small travelling circus comes to town. Its tent holds a variety of acts: hilarious, absurd, magical, foolish and poetic. A surreal, dream-inspired circus, where comedy and poetry take control and transport the audience on a timeless journey. A tribute to the Big Mother who, dressed as a big top circus tent, brings to life acts that celebrate the magic of play for play’s sake… because living is playing.

2023 – ZIRK Comedy walk act

Een Beckettiaanse clown, gevolgd door een “Big Top Lady”, bewandelt de draad van de illusie op zoek naar het onzichtbare om met het publiek te spelen. ZIRK is een klein reizend circus dat rondtrekt om voorbijgangers te verbazen.
Door komedie, magie en poëzie te vermengen, laat ZIRK het deelnemende publiek nieuwe gezichtspunten zien over de ruimte rondom hen. De show past zich aan aan wie en wat het op zijn pad tegenkomt: mensen, objecten, situaties, openbare ruimtes, architecturale elementen.

A Beckettian clown, followed by a “Big Top Lady”, walks the thread of illusion in search of the invisible in order to play and rejoice with the audience. ZIRK is a tiny travelling circus that wanders to amaze passersby.
Blending comedy, magic and poetry, ZIRK presents the participating audience with novel points of view about the space around them. The show adapts to whoever and whatever it finds on its path: people, objects, situations, public spaces, architectural elements.
