2023 – Celestial Sound Cloud

Celestial Sound cloud is een prachtige interactieve klank- en lichtsculptuur die boven het publiek hangt (6m x 6m – flexibel). De sculptuur creëert een kleine, dansende, zingende wereld in de ruimte. Deze wereld telt 5 planeten waar het publiek niet alleen lichteffecten, maar ook geluidseffecten kan waarnemen (regisseur: Eleanor Hooper).
De toeschouwers zijn zich niet bewust van alle technologieën die er aan te pas komen en worden zo ondergedompeld in verschillende sferen. De Celestial Sound Cloud is een installatie die zowel overdag als ’s nachts kan geprogrammeerd worden. De installatie wordt geïnstalleerd naar wens van de organisatie (aan bomen of palen). Overal waar Celestial Sound Cloud te gast was, werd het project vol lof onthaald.

The Celestial Sound Cloud is a beautiful Interactive Sound and Light sculpture hung above the audience (6m x 6m area – flexible). The sculpture is inspired by the nebula and galaxies seen far out in space but creates a small dancing, singing world beneath it. It has 5 “planets” each sensing audience beneath it that trigger light sequences and parts from a sequence of 15 part vocal harmonies created by director Eleanor Hooper.
The audience are oblivious to the layers of technology and just go with the moods from the sacred to the silly in this beautiful space – creating a unique sound track every time. The Celestial Sound Cloud can run day or night and in any weather. It is installed by us hung from trees or from architecture or poles we install. It has toured to a great response to woodlands, parks, churches, galleries and many festival settings.
