2019 – Sisyphus

“One imagine Sisyphus as a happy person.” Met ongekend speelplezier gaan drie sterke karakters om met het creatieproces. Op humoristische wijze tonen ze hoe artiesten samen trainen, ideeën proberen en weggooien en vechten voor waardevolle minuten in de schijnwerpers. Stoïcijns maar gelukkig blijven ze nieuwe beelden maken rond de tripod en een “Push” knop voor muziekopnames. Geïnspireerd door de Sisyphus mythe en de Camos quote creëren ze een show vol kunstzinnigheid. Ze presenteren Banquine, hand-to-hand, partner-acrobatie, … op verschillende niveau’s. Het enige wat je nodig hebt voor een goede show: een beetje filosofie, sterke beelden en drie sympathieke artiesten. Company Satchok zijn: Galatée Auzanneau – Camiel Corneille – Marius Pohlmann. Over Company Satchok (DUI):
Galatée Auzanneau en Marius Pohlmann (samen met hun vroegere artistieke partner Tim Belime) studeerden in juni 2012 af als Bachelor of Arts aan de Circus School Academy for Circus and Performance Art (ACaPA) in Tilburg, Nederland., gespecialiseerd in partner acrobatie: banquine, 3- man-hoog en hand-to-hand. Vooraleer ze alle drie samen “Trio Satchok” oprichtten, deden ze hun eigen ervaringen op in verschillende amateur-circusgezelschappen en theaterprojecten in hun eigen thuislanden. Hun eerste gezamenlijke show “urban acrobatic show” werd ontwikkeld samen met Robert Sterzik, eigenaar van Rudi Renner Agency en ging in première tijdens het Oerol Festival in Terschelling (juni 2013). Tot eind 2016, wanneer Tim het trio verliet om met zijn vrouw in Chili te gaan leven, toerden ze in Europa en wonnen diverse prijzen. Sinds 2017 is Camiel Corneille de nieuwe man in “Company Satchok”. Hij behaalde zijn Bacholor of Fine Arts and Education 2011 in Nederland en studeerde af aan Codarts Circus Arts in Rotterdam (2015), is artistiek coach en doceert Visuele Kunsten (fotografie en videografie) en neemt deel aan verschillende interdisciplinaire projecten. Met hun nieuwe “Man at the Straps” maakten Marius en Galatée “Sisyphus”, een show die imponeert door prachtige beelden, ironie, intelligentie en artistieke krachttoeren.

“One imagine Sisyphus as a happy person.” With unrivaled playfulness, three strong characters deal with the process of creation. Humorously they show how artists train together, try out and discard ideas, and struggle for valuable minutes in the spotlight. Stoic but happy, they keep creating new pictures around their tripod and a ”Push” button for music recordings. Inspired by the Sisyphus myth and the Camus quote, Company Satchok created a show full of artistry. They present Banquine, hand on hand, straps and partner acrobatics on many levels. That’s all it takes for a good show: A little philosophy, strong pictures and three sympathetic artists! Company Satchok are: Galatée Auzanneau – Camiel Corneille – Marius Pohlmann. About Company Satchok (GER.):
Galatée Auzanneau and Marius Pohlmann graduated with their former artistic partner Tim Belime in June 2012 as Bachelor of Arts from the Circus School Academy for Circus and Performance Art (ACaPA) in Tilburg, the Netherlands, specializing in partner acrobatics: Banquine, 3-man-high and hand-on-hand. Before “Trio Satchok” was founded in September 2010, all three of them made their own experiences in various amateur circuses and theatre projects in their home countries. The show was developed under the name “urban acrobatic show” together with Robert Sterzik, owner of the Rudi Renner agency, and celebrated its premiere in June 2013 at the Oerol Festival in Terschelling. Until September 2016 they toured Europe with their award-winning show. End of 2016 Tim left the trio to live in Chile with his wife. Since 2017 Camiel Corneille is the new man at “Company Satchok”. Camiel received his Bachelor of Fine Arts and Education 2011 in the Netherlands. He then graduated from Codarts Circus Arts in Rotterdam in 2015. He specialises in straps, aerials and poles. In addition to his own artistic work, Camiel is an artistic coach and teaches Visual Arts (photography and videography). He participates in various interdisciplinary projects. With their new “Man at the Straps” Marius and Galatée developed “Sisyphus” in intensive rehearsals. A show that impresses with clever pictures, irony and wit, and artistic acts of strength!
