2019 – Um belo dia

Een project bedacht door Dulce Duca en Iris. Dulce Duca brengt
jongleren, manipulatie en evenwicht van de clubs in een unieke
en opvallende vorm van lichaamsexpressie. Ze brengt sterke emoties over bij haar publiek dat erdoor wordt geïntegreerd en geïntrigeerd. Een metaforische en surrealistische voorstelling, gebruik makend van fysiek theater, circus, dans, jongleren, evenwicht met de clubs, objectmanipulatie en live muziek. Geschikt voor elke leeftijd.

2019 – Just full

Een show van 9 minuten voor Gala’s of andere evenementen die
openstaan voor dit soort voorstellingen. Een surrealistische en komische voorstelling over de transformatie van een vrouw, van haar decadente en ellendige gevoelens tot het volledig haarzelf en haar leven in handen nemen. Deze korte voorstelling wordt opgenomen in haar nieuwe langere show “Sweet Drama” die in première gaat op het OUT THERE Festival (september 2019).

Over Dulce Duca (Portugal): Dulce Duca (1984) stapt in de jongleerwereld op een zelfbedachte manier (2001). Samen met FAAC neemt ze deel aan en organiseert een project “Work in Progress Arts Meeting’, een ontmoeting met 70 artiesten van over heel de wereld in Srebrna Gora, Polen. In 2010 ontwikkelt ze het Oct/Nov 2010 project, een artistieke invasie op het Portugees grondgebied. Samen met jongleur Adrien Batiot staat ze in 2009 aan de wieg van Made in Taiwan Company. Met dit gezelschap organiseert ze en neemt ze deel aan de Mochila Tour in Brazilië. Daar presenteert ze voor het eerst een deel van “Um Belo Dia”, geeft jongleerklassen in de favela’s (sloppenwijken), sociale projecten en circusscholen. In 2010 gaat de hele voorstelling van “Um Belo Dia” in première op Al Filo Circus Marathon (de prijs voor circustheater) als onderdeel van het Contemporary Stage Festival, Madrid. Sindsdien werd de show opgevoerd op straten en pleinen en in theaters in verschillende landen waaronder het Trapezi Festival (Reus), TAC (Valladolid), European Youth Capital (Braga), Milano Clown Festival, Fira Tarrega, …

format peaces. It’s a surrealistic and comic act, about the transformation of a woman, from her decadence and miserable fellings to full taking power of herself and her life. (This peace is inpiered in a new show written by Dulce Duca, called SWEET DRAMA, that will have its premiere in the OUT THERE Festival September 2019.) It works indoor and outdoors (intime spaces)

About Dulce Duca (Portugal): Dulce Duca (1984) initiates herself into the world of juggling in a self-taught form, in 2001. In 2009, together with FAAAC, she participates in and organizes a project called Work in Progress Arts Meeting – a meeting of seventy artists from all over the world, that took place in Srebrna Gora, Poland. And in 2010, she develops the Oct/Nov 2010 project, an artistic invasion of Portuguese territory. In 2009, together with the juggler Adrien Batiot, she founds the Made in Taiwan Company, with which she organizes and takes part in the Mochila Tour, in Brazil, where she presents the first stage of Um Belo Dia and imparts juggling classes in the ‘favelas’ (slums), social projects and Circus Schools. In 2010, Um Belo Dia is premiered at the Al Filo Circus Marathon (Teatro Circo Price), within the Contemporary Stage Festival, Madrid. Since then, this piece has been performed in halls, streets and plazas, such as: the Trapezi Festival (Reus), TAC (Valladolid), European Youth Capital (Braga), Milano Clown Festival, Fira Tarrega, amongst others.
