2019 – Encore une fois (work in progress)

Drie mensen komen op scène..De ene meer nieuwsgierig dan de andere, testen ze de mogelijkheden van de schommel. Ze proberen het maximum er uit te halen, zowel in de hoogte als op de grond. Waar eindigt hun speelruimte? Al snel gebruiken ze pingpongballen als instrument om te jongleren. Een eenvoudig en onschadelijk object, dat tegenwicht biedt aan de “machine van oorlog” (naam gegeven aan de schommel). Dit alles in een levendig ritme, ondersteund door muziek, georkestreerd door een sampler op het podium. Accumulatie, herhaling, risico, beheersing: speels gevaar of hachelijke kwetsbaarheid? Gedragen door 6 schouders, weerspiegeld door 3 hoofden en ondertekend door 1 collectief; hun energie drijft de scène, zorgt voor empathie bij het publiek, raakt het publiek. Speels, maar krachtig. Fouten zijn toegestaan.

Over Tripotes la Compagnie (BE.): Companie Tripotes is een jong Spaans collectief gevestigd in Brussel. Het gezelschap is samengesteld uit Julio Calero Ferre, Daniel Torralbo Perez en Gianna Sutterlet. Ze hebben elkaar ontmoet op de ESAC (School Superior of the Circus Arts) en zijn gespecialiseerd in de Koreaanse schommels en acrobatiek.

Three people come on scene. One more curious than the other, they test the possibilities of the swing. They try to use the maximum, both in height and on the ground. Where does their play space end? Soon they use ping pong balls. A simple and harmless object that counterbalances the “machine of war” (small name given to the swing), it became an instrument for good juggling. All in a lively rhythm, supported by a musical creation, orchestrated by a sampler that follows them on stage. Accumulation, repetition, risk, control: playful danger or perilous vulnerability? A project that wants to be autonomous, complete and present. Carried by 6 shoulders, reflected by 3 heads and signed by 1 collective; our energy drives the scene. Provide empathy to the public, touch the audience. The idea is that mistakes are allowed. Playful, but powerful.

Company Tripotes (BE.): Company Tripotes is a young Spanish collective based in Brussels. The company consists of Julio Calero Ferre, Daniel Torralbo Perez and Gianna Sutterlet. They met at ESAC (Superior School of the Circus Arts) and are specialized in Korean swings and acrobatics.
