2026 – a la Fresca (Fresh Air)

Het gaat over drie oude dames die een frisse neus gaan halen en daarbij hun eigen gigantische stoel meenemen. Terwijl ze door de stad lopen, ontstaan er hilarische situaties.

Een voorstelling geïnspireerd door de grootmoeders die op zomeravonden stoelen buiten hun huis zetten om wat frisse lucht te happen. Voor hen kon elke alledaagse gebeurtenis een geweldig verhaal worden.

Drie personages, die ons zeer bekend voorkomen, en een gigantische stoel komen naar buiten om van de frisse lucht te genieten. Alledaagse en tegelijkertijd surrealistische taferelen, die met weinig woorden zeer komische beelden oproepen… En de straten zullen altijd van de buren blijven!

De structuur van de voorstelling wordt bepaald door: de interactie met de straatruimte en de voetgangers, de relaties tussen de drie personages en de acties van de personages met de stoel.

Fresh Air wil een pleidooi zijn voor de straatruimte als een ruimte voor iedereen, voor jong en oud, een ruimte om relaties aan te gaan, te delen… kortom, om er te leven.

It is about three old ladies who go out for some fresh air carrying their own giant chair with them. Some hilarious situations are created as they walk around the town.

A show inspired by the grandmothers who on summer evenings would bring chairs outside their homes to get some fresh air. For them any everyday event could become a great story.

Three characters, who will be very familiar to us, and a giant chair come out to enjoy the fresh air. Everyday and at the same time surreal scenes, which have the ability to generate very comical images with very few words… And the streets will always belong to the neighbors!

The structure of the show is caused by: the interaction with the street space and the pedestrians, the relationships between the 3 characters and the actions of the characters with the chair.

Fresh Air it wants to be a vindication of the street space as a space for everyone for young and old, a space to relate, to share,… in short, to live there.
