2026 – Free Fall for People with Vertigo

Acrobatisch duo van vrouwen die samen vallen. De theorie van de vrije val wordt het perfecte excuus om in het relationele universum van de twee hoofdrolspelers te glijden. Een reeks fysieke en emotionele loops ontvouwt zich, geleid door hun eigen duidelijke tekortkomingen, waardoor ze hun liefde op de meest onvermijdelijk onhandige en oprechte manier uiten. De hulpeloosheid van het niet weten hoe ze de relatie in stand moeten houden, vertaalt zich in acrobatische woorden die genegenheid en agressie met elkaar verweven.

Lichamen communiceren door middel van valpartijen, balancerend op de dunne grens tussen het alledaagse en het absurde. Zou een parachute hen redden van de vrije val? Of zou die de val juist verlengen?

Acrobatic duo of women falling together. The theory of free fall becomes the perfect excuse to slip into the relational universe of the two protagonists. A range of physical and emotional loops unfolds, guided by their own evident shortcomings, leading them to express love in the most inevitably clumsy and sincere way. The helplessness of not knowing how to sustain the relationship translates into acrobatic words that intertwine affection and aggression.

Bodies communicate through falls, swinging along the fine line between the everyday and the absurd. Would a parachute save them from free fall? Or would it simply make it longer?
