2026 – High (on) Fashion

“High (on) Fashion” is een 55/40 minuten durende solovoorstelling van hedendaags circus, geschikt voor zowel binnen- als buitenlocaties. Het stuk toont de waanzin van de fast fashion-industrie en haar textielafval. De voorstelling maakt gebruik van bewegingsonderzoek op een Chinese paal en op de vloer, evenals honderden kledingstukken als rekwisieten, kostuums en scenografie als communicatiemiddelen.

Het publiek wordt uitgenodigd om mee te gaan op een reis door een abstracte consumptie van kleding, een wereld waarin kleding op magische wijze verschijnt, verdwijnt en vliegt, waardoor het personage op het podium tot haar fysieke en mentale grenzen wordt gedreven. Voor en na de voorstelling vindt er een kledingruil plaats, waarbij het publiek hun eigen kleding een nieuw leven kan geven en iets nieuws mee naar huis kan nemen.

Breng kledij mee en doe mee

Breng een kledingstuk mee dat je niet meer draagt, maar nog in goede staat is.
Voor en na de voorstelling kun je het ruilen met iemand anders uit het publiek.

“High (on) Fashion” is a 55/40min. solo contemporary circus show available for indoor and outdoor venues. The piece is showcasing the madness of the fast fashion industry and its textile waste. The performance uses movement research on a Chinese pole and on the floor, as well as hundreds of clothing items as props, costumes and scenography as tools to communicate.

The audience is invited to join a journey of an abstract consume of clothes, a world in which clothes magically appear, disappear and fly, pushing the character on stage to her physical and mental limits. Before and after the performance, a clothing exchange will take place, where the audience can give a new life to their own clothes and bring home something new.

Bring clothing and take part

Bring a piece of clothing you no longer wear, but that is still in good condition.
Before and after the performance, you can exchange it with someone else from the audience.
