2026 – Architectural Line Accentuation

2026 – SOL – the cycle of our Sun
De Sint-Maartenskathedraal van Ieper is omgevormd tot een ruimte-kathedraal … een gigantische zon hangt centraal in de middenbeuk … we starten haar levenscyclus met de grote gele zon zoals we die nu kennen … we zien ze krimpen en veranderen in een rode dwerg … alvorens te exploderen in een gigantische nevel … tegenover die zon hangt onze aarde … zij ondergaat al het zonnegeweld. De zonne-cyclus wordt ondersteund met een aangepaste soundtrack en met live orgelmuziek.
Ypres’ St. Martin’s Cathedral has been transformed into a space cathedral… a giant sun hangs centrally in the nave… we begin its life cycle with the large yellow sun as we know it today… we see it shrink and turn into a red dwarf … before exploding into a gigantic nebula … opposite that sun hangs our earth … it undergoes all the violence of the sun. The solar cycle is accompanied by a specially adapted soundtrack and live organ music.
