2019 – Dans la cabane

Deze show is geïnspireerd op het jeugdalbum: Het kind achter
het raam van Dani Torrent en Anne-Gaëlle Féjoz. Dit is het verhaal van Rodrigo, een kleine jongen die in zijn wereld woont en die een hut bouwt om zich te beschermen tegen anderen, lawaai, verschil en alles wat hem kan schrikken en hem verdrietig kan maken. Deze kleine jongen liet echter een klein raam op een kier naar de buitenwereld, om van tijd tot tijd een kijkje te nemen of het buiten kalm is, om de anderen en de “superhelden” te observeren …
Op een dag verschijnt een superheld als geen ander. Hiermee
kan Rodrigo beetje bij beetje zijn raam openen en ermee instemmen om te communiceren met de buitenwereld … Dit
verhaal gaat over het verschil en de moeilijkheid om uit je innerlijke wereld te komen. Via circustechnieken, clown en
poppenspel, nodigen we kinderen uit om een poëtisch en speels
universum binnen te gaan … Voor kinderen vanaf 3 jaar.

Over Cie Curupira (FR.): Circusartieste (luchtacrobatiek) en actrice, geboren in Brazilië. Haar vader, clown, leerde haar de beginselen van comedy toen ze slechts zes jaar was. Ze heeft genoten van een dubbele training aan Morley College (Dramatic Arts) in Londen en circus school “The Circus Space”, waar ze in 1997 BTEC (National Diploma in Performing Arts) won. In 1998 trainde ze met Mamadou Diome van het (Peter Brook) theater in Frankrijk. In 1998 werd ze uitgenodigd voor een geavanceerde opleiding aan de CNAC in Chalons-en Champagne. Sindsdien werkte ze achtereenvolgens met tal van gezelschappen, waaronder: KDC Theatre Company, Scarabeus Theatre Company, het Romanes Circus Co. Volte-Face, Teatro del Silencio, Universoul Circus, Cirque Baroque, The Farfadais, Triple Trap / Cirq’choc, Co. Kalido, Compagnie Nö en Les Escargots Ailles. Ze maakt de show “Canela Fina” en de show “Beija Clown”. In 2017 creëerde ze haar eigen gezelschap «Curupira» Sinds 2009 organiseert ze een cultureel festival op het eiland Itaparica, in de regio van Bahia in Brazilië: het FESTIT.

This show is inspired by the youth album: The child behind the
window of Dani Torrent and Anne-Gaëlle Féjoz. This is the story
of Rodrigo, a little boy who lives in his world and who builds a
hut to protect himself from others, noise, difference and
everything that can scare him and make him sad. This little boy,
however, left a small window open to the outside world, to take
a look from time to time whether it is calm outside, to observe
the others and the “superheroes” … One day a superhero appears as no other. This allows Rodrigo to open his window bit by bit and agree to communicate with the outside world … This story is about the difference and the difficulty to come from your inner world. Through circus techniques, clown and puppetry, we invite children to enter a poetic and playful universe … For children from 3 years.

About Cie Curupira (FR.): Circus artist (aerial acrobatics) and actress, born in Brazil. Her father, clown, taught her the principles of comedy when she was only six years old. She has enjoyed a double training at Morley College (Dramatic Arts) in London and circus school “The Circus Space”, where she won BTEC (National Diploma in Performing Arts) in 1997. In 1998 she trained with Mamadou Diome of the (Peter Brook) theater in France. In 1998 she was invited for an advanced training at the CNAC in Chalons-en Champagne. Since then she has worked with numerous companies, including: KDC Theater Company, Scarabeus Theater Company, the Romanes Circus Co. Volte-Face, Teatro del Silencio, Universe Circus, Cirque Baroque, The Farfadais, Triple Trap / Cirq’choc. Kalido, Compagnie Nö and Les Escargots Ailles.
